Our Gender Score review is out on JMIR. Thanks to the amazing work of L. Schindler and all of the co-authors, we have confirmed the existence of a huge gap between what is used in literature to define Gender, and what is actually available in the data coming from clinics. We here provide guidelines and suggestions for researchers and institutions, and our next step is to discover how we can use the available clinical routine data to address the gender blindness in medicine.
