The simple truth is that the era in which #research and #science (and #technology) are exploited by states and their militaries must come to an end! Science serves #humanity first and foremost; it ought to adhere to a codex - much like that of #medicine - to serve and protect people (habitats), rather than to destroy them!
If research mandates were to abide by this principle, we would be one step closer to the goal of peaceful coexistence - in 2026, this is clearly not the case -
