Have you wondered where the claim that autistic people lack empathy came from?@sinvega@mas.to @KatyElphinstone@mas.to I started with a message lower in the thread. Once I read the context, my immediate reaction was to say, out loud, "wtf, she shouldn't be asserting things if she doesn't know"
Like yeah, I think she is responsible, because her lack of double checking is what led to the outcome. Does that mean I want something to be done? Hell no! At most this is a cautionary tale of why you should always know the edge of your knowledge, nothing more -

The world is drowning in slop and so many artists still feel the need to say "sorry for wasting your time with my silly doodles" type of stuff when writing a blog posts or posting new works.@NiwlCraft@mastodon.art The only time waste is AI art, silly doodles or ramblings from an actual sentient being will never be a waste of time in my book!

If recruiters will use AI to go through my CV and require a motivational letter, you bet-your-ass I'm using AI for the letter.@iamada@tech.lgbt honestly, when I was applying for jobs, I made a cover letter that was 3 paragraphs any me and my skills so that I could just change the 4th paragraph to some generic drug about the company. Letter looked big, but took little time to edit for reuse
