@jumile yeah... I know. They think all the signs asking them to keep their dog leashed don't apply to them. I see it around farms (yep your dog can hurt livestock too!), nature reserves, beaches, including where there are big boards explaining the rare breeding birds etc.Pisses me tf off. I don't understand the mentality of it. People think their dog having some quick sprints is more important than the wildlife..? And they call themselves 'outdoorsy' Always grateful to see the people actually... Doing it.Dogs, mostly, I love. People, not so much.

@chad Thanks to excessive paranoia about water damage, I've got a primary pump, a backup pump, and a water level monitor (submersible pressure transducer feeding data to Home Assistant) with various alerts.I've done nothing to deal with a rapidly filling sump during a power failure though.
