Here’s something I hadn’t considered before…
We see oil derricks and pump jacks all over the province, with hostile gravel and unfertile soil all around them… but when you see solar panels and wind turbines you see houses with lawns, gardens, pastures, and fields all around them.
I wonder why no one ever chooses to live under pump jacks?

Well this is odd, and possibly concerning. A NOTAM restricting pilots from operating below 18000 ft has been issued for all of El Paso, which borders Mexico, for security reasons.
This effectively shuts down El Paso's airport (KDNA) for an entire week.

They got elected, and they've got four years to do whatever the hell they want. They don't respond to emails, phone calls, letters.
The UCP and the NWC is a prime example.
Eleanor Olszewski, parachute candidate for Edmonton-Centre has yet to respond to a single constituent email. Randy at least responded some of the time.
They're all complicit.

The feds are absolutely complicit in allowing this to happen. They have the power to without CHA funding, but are turning a blind eye to this clear organized determination to defund and divide our public system for corporate benefit.
Update: I think I've accepted all of the beta test e-transfers.
I was able to set up auto-deposit directly into our Mastodon Canada account. It shows my name, but rest assured, it goes into our dedicated chequing account.
I will be updating the instance About page with this development, I know many were waiting on this.
Again, I'm humbled by how many find their third place here and believe in a federated, distributed future.
