Wide-mouth jars are far superior for fermentation. I have the pickle pebbles and pickle pipes for multiple jars now, so that everything can let out gasses, without collecting unwanted bacteria.
The weekend was my mini-fermentation party, since I gave away a lot of jars over Christmas. Also, I had a bit of additional time at home.

Spicy food brings me almost as much joy as coffee!! It's a physiological response; the body thinks you're under attack and floods you with feel-good hormones.
I picked a pack of jalapeños from HMart last week and fermented them in leftover kimchi brine. My chiropractor was pleased when I gifted her a jar today.

Chances are, that would also be true of your competition! There's definitely something to be said for p/t retirement jobs. It offers structure to one's life, as well as money for splurges that one wants to make. It's possible that the work itself and one's coworkers will be tolerable or even pleasant.

Very nice! This could certainly be done with either jelly rolls or strips of your scraps, or a mixture of the 2. I've usually sewn straps on before completing the base of a bag, but they can certainly be done either way.

IIRC, you have to eat at least 4 of these coffees to get the same effect as 1 cup of coffee, so they're a very ineffective caffeine delivery candy. They might be mildly helpful for afternoon driving on a long roadtrip when you don't want to pee as much as you would while drinking coffee. Still, I no longer eat many hard candies because they shred the roof of my mouth too badly. I like CLIF BLOKS energy candies for endurance sports like running and cycling, and many of them have added caffeine, helpful when exercising for 1 hour+. Lots of flavour options.

Browser searches are very much not what they used to be, so I doubt that your question would be answered that way. My bone broth was excellent, and I used some of it to make my annual black-eyed peas dish for good luck in the New Year. I never have the collard greens to go with it, since they're rarely in our grocery stores, assuming that I'd be willing to shop in one during the holiday season. But, the beans were great, flavoured with an excellent smoked turkey wing from K&K Grocers.
